Indoor People Counting
We have a range of indoor people
counters, to suit all your needs.
Indoor Micro IR Beam People Counter.
(MIR7B)
MIR7B is an accurate people counter with no
cabling required. Can be supplied with internal data logger or
wireless option for download of time-date data directly to PC/laptop.
The Indoor Micro IR Beam Counter MIR7B is our most
popular indoor counter and has a new extended sensing distance of up to 8
metres. It is an
advanced, very small, dual component unit, which records people as they
pass between the two units. The units are placed on either side of the
entrance. The units are easy to install and as they are
battery powered, no cables are required The counter has a 6 digit
LCD display that is reset with the supplied magnet. It can operate over wide entrances, is
insensitive to ambient light changes etc and is very reliable. It can be
used with a wireless link to a PC or with a datalogger. The units have
battery check LED and a beam alignment indicator making installation very
easy. The unit operates for over a year using standard PP3 alkaline
batteries. The units are housed in a robust black box with an integral
battery compartment. If required we can also supply a mains version.

Long Range IR Beam People Counter (LIR7)
LIR7 is a robust accurate long range people counter suitable for use in
bus stations etc. No cabling is required. Can be supplied with internal
data logger or wireless option for download of time-date data directly to
PC/laptop.
The LIR7 is an advanced people counter which uses fast
pulse narrow beam IR. The counter consists of an infra-red beam
transmitter and receiver, that can be set positioned up to 12 metres
apart. The counter incorporates advanced filtering making it insensitive
sunlight. The counter has very low battery consumption and the AA lithium
batteries will last for over 4 years . The unit is very easy to set up as
there is no cable between the two units. The counter is supplied in strong
polycarbonate housing with tamper-proof screws to help prevent damage
from vandals which makes the counters suitable for shopping centres, bus
stations etc. It can be used with a wireless link to a PC or with a
datalogger.

Indoor Micro IR Proximity People Counter.
(MIR7P)
A one-sided people counter that can be used above or to the
side of entrances. Can be supplied with internal data logger or
wireless option for download of time-date data directly to PC/laptop. A
robust unit suitable for many situations such as libraries and public toilets.
The Indoor Micro IR Proximity People counter MIR7P
incorporates the following features:
-
Robust construction

Indoor Micro IR Proximity People Counter.
(MIR5P)
The Indoor Micro IR Proximity People counter MIR5P is
a very small, single component unit, which records people as
they pass in front of the counter. It is normally placed above a door. The
unit is very compact, is easy to install and, as it is battery powered, no
cables are required. The unit detects people by sending out a pulse of
infra-red light which is reflected when a person comes into range of the
unit. The unit has a small LCD display
which can be reset using a switch. Under standard conditions the battery
will last in excess of one year.
This unit is being superceded by the MIR7P but we still have a few
of these left.

Low Cost Dual Direction IR People Counter DIR5R
This is a low cost
mains operated unit, that uses a
reflected infra red beam to count the number of people passing in both directions. It displays the counts for both directions on the multifunction
LCD display.

Dual Beam People Counter. DBPC
This is a very robust high specification counter that uses
infrared sensors to count people passing in either direction. It can operate on
passage ways up to 4 metres wide and can be used with the Chambers Loggers. It
can also be used to display the number of people in a building. It operates from
12 to 24 volts and is suitable for integration into other systems. Can also be
used to record the number of people in a room.
It can be used with a wireless link to a PC or with a
datalogger.

Wireless
link to PC
Many of our indoor counters can be supplied with a radio
transmitter which automatically uploads the number of people counted onto
a PC via a receiver unit. The receiver can collect data from several
counters. The data is stored in a table on the PC, which can be very
easily imported into an Excel spreadsheet for further analyses.
For units which are a long distance from the PC repeater units can be
supplied to transfer the information.

Data logger
The logger can be used on majority of the Chambers counters, it records the
number counted in a preset time interval. It is very easy to use and
requires no extra equipment as the recorded information is downloaded
directly into a PC. To add extra flexibility the logger
can now be unplugged from the counters so that it can be taken to a PC.
The software provides a graphical display of the counts per period and
allows the user to export the data into a spreadsheet.
If you want further information from your data, send us your
data on disc or via email and we will analyse it for you.
