DATA LOGGER FOR CHAMBERS COUNTERS

People CounterPeople Counter

Description

The Data Logger can be supplied with all Chambers People, Car, and Bicycle Counters. The logger is a microprocessor based system which is supplied as a separate unit that connects to the counter or if required can be incorporated into the counters' control box . It is powered from a small lithium battery which will last over two years without needing changed.

The logger is setup and the data retrieved by connecting the logger to the serial port of an IBM PC or compatible. The logger comes complete with an interface lead.

A Windows program can be supplied which is used to set up and download the stored data. The program is very easy to use. The logger is programmed with a text string, used to identify the logger, the logger record interval, the start date and time and automatically with the current date and time. When the data is retrieved, the text string, time and date of each record, and number of people passing within the record interval is obtained. The data is automatically displayed on a graph, which can then be printed. The recorded data can also be converted into various formats suitable for importing into spreadsheets etc. The logger is fail-save and will retain its data even after the battery has been removed.

If required the logger can be downloaded on site using a portable computer or can be exchanged for another logger and taken away for downloading.
