This is a new design that is very easy to install, there is no need to dig up the road surface as the unit is simply placed beside the road. It counts cars by sensing the change in magnetic field as they pass. The counter is very reliable and can easily be moved for monitoring other roads.

This new counter is designed to count cars entering car parks etc. The counter uses a transmitter and receiver which can be placed up to 12 metres apart. It is very easy to install, simply place the units on either side of the road. The counter counts cars whilst ignoring walkers. The counter has very low battery consumption. We can supply this counter with specially designed posts or with protective boxes.
Data
logger
The logger can be used on all the counters, it records the number counted in a preset time interval. It is very easy to use and requires no extra equipment as the recorded information is downloaded directly into a PC. To add extra flexibility the logger can now be unplugged from the counters so that it can be taken to a PC. The software provides a graphical display of the counts per period and allows the user to export the data into a spreadsheet.
