Bicycle Counters

Radio Beam Bicycle Counter
-
NEW DETECTION TECHNOLOGY
-
DETECTS ALL TYPES OF BICYCLES
-
SIMPLE TO INSTALL, NO NEED DIG UP PATH SURFACE
-
IDEAL FOR ROUGH TRACKS, SUCH AS MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
-
CAN BE INSTALLED IN STONE WALLS, GATE POSTS,
ETC.
-
ALL-WEATHER OPERATION
-
EASY TO HIDE
-
DATA LOGGER OPTION AVAILABLE
This latest addition to our bicycle
counter range has many advantages over existing methods for counting
bicycles, and can be used on all types of path surfaces. The counter consists of
2 self-contained units that include small antennas which are simply placed
on either side of the path. There is no need to dig a trench in the path and
the unit can be installed very quickly. The unit uses advanced metal
detecting technology to reliably count alloy and steel bicycles as they pass
between the units. The signal can pass through rock etc. so that the counter
can be easily hidden from view. The units are robust and fully waterproof. A
data logger can be supplied to enable data downloads directly onto a PC for
analysis. A new model is now out that has reduced current consumption.

RadioBeam Cycle Lane Counter RBB7 - CL
-
New product developed using our unique and proven
RadioBeam technology
-
Accurately counts cyclists in cycle lanes adjacent to car
lanes
-
Counts cyclists when the car is passing simultaneously.
Excludes pedestrians.
-
Detects bikes up to 0.8 metre from sensor and excludes
cars more than 1.2 metres from sensor Detects all types of bikes
-
Single sided unit with all elements (control box,
transmitter, receiver, bike antenna, batteries, logger, etc) housed in
single secure protective housing box.
-
Reliable all-weather operation
-
Suitable for all types of surfaces, including paved
-
Installed above ground at one side of road, path, etc. No
path disturbance.
The RBB7-CL bicycle counter was developed to provide an
accurate counting system for cyclists that are cycling in locations in close
proximity to cars such as cycle lanes. It will exclude cars more than 1.2 metres
from the sensor and all pedestrians. It can also be used on cycle lanes of less
than 1 metre width where a single-sided installation is preferred. We have
developed this counter using our well established RadioBeam technology to
provide accurate and reliable counting under all weather conditions.
Bicycle Counter 2000
This counter is proving very popular and
is extremely reliable. It uses advanced metal detecting technology to detect
and count bicycles as they pass over the detection antenna. This counter
will detect both steel and alloy wheels but will not detect walkers. The
sensor is buried below the ground surface.

Dual
Bicycle and People Counter
The RBBP7 is the latest model of the radio beam bike and
people counter that uses dual frequency technology, that was developed by
us, that enables walkers and cyclists to be individually counted.
The counter consists of two units that are placed on either side of the
path, and no cable is required to run between them, making installation very
easy. Each unit has two sets of antennae, which are attached via a lead and
placed on either side of the road. The radio beam will pass through plastic
signs etc. so that the unit is easy to disguise.
We can also supply a unit based on this counter that counts horses,
pedestrians and cyclists individually.

Data
logger
The logger can be used on all the
counters, it records the number counted in a preset time interval. It is
very easy to use and requires no extra equipment as the recorded information
is downloaded directly into a PC. To add extra flexibility the
logger can now be unplugged from the counters so that it can be taken to a
PC. The software provides a graphical display of the counts per period and
allows the user to export the data into a spreadsheet.
If you want further information from your
data, send us you data on disc or via email and we will analyse it for you.
