Chambers manufacture a range of transponders for the Retriever System, and can manufacture them to suit specific applications. The most popular transponders are listed below with their dimensions and detection range.

  • Completely waterproof and will function while submerged

  • Waterproof label with individual serial number

Marker Detection Distance

The markers are normally positioned vertically in the ground. The vertical detection distance is the maximum depth at which the marker can be detected by the Retriever unit. The horizontal detection distance is the maximum horizontal distance that the transponder can be detected from the centre of the Retriever unit antenna. The detect area is the area over which it can be detected.
